You never know when your camera will come in handy. I know photographers that pack away their camera and lens separately. Why in the world would you want to do something like that? Your camera needs to be ready to shoot at all times like a gun in war time. You must be ready to shoot.
Always have your camera ready!

Wayne Wallace has been selected as one of the photographers to document the WPPI conference in Las Vegas, NV in April of 2006!
Last year, for the 25th Anniversary of the show, GraphiStudio proposed an idea to the association to create a book featuring images of the show captured by some of the industries finest photographers.
The participating photographers were: Yervant Zanzanian, Bambi Cantrell, Joe Buissink and Jensen Sutta- a recent graduate from the Brooks Institute.
The association and participating photographers were presented with a completed book as a thank you for allowing us to give a behind the scenes glimpse at the industries largest show. The response was amazing and as a result, a 6 page article was written in Rangefinder magazine featuring the work of the participating photographers.
See the full feature from Rangefinder.
The participating photographers selected to shoot this year’s project are:
Peter Atherton
Bob Davis
Wayne Wallace
Chris Lalonde
Labels: Las Vegas Event Photography, Publications

Sometimes it takes a tragedy to make people see the true value of photography. Pepe, seen here in the red shirt died in a fire last week. His family tried to save him, but sadly they were not able to and lost their son and home in the fire. A point and shoot camera survived the fire somehow. There happened to be a few recent photos of Pepe and the family asked if there was a way to fix the quality of the images. I volunteered my time and services to work on the images. The family didn't have any insurance and lost everything. If you would like to make a donation to the family please contact me.
"I would like to thank you for enhancing the image of Pepe it really means a lot to the Versalles family. Thank you also for collecting donations to the family to help them get back on their feet." -- A friend of the family

I worked with Laura to create a portrait of her. When she came into the studio she was visibly shaken. I asked her what was wrong? She said that she was petrified to have her photo taken. I can personally say that I've never photographed someone so scared to have their photo taken. When Laura sent me this testimonial I felt like I had done my job as a photographer. That's why I love this job, I make people feel good!
"I thought that I wasn't photogenic until I had my portrait done by Wayne Wallace. Wayne Wallace has this way of making you forget that the camera is there and I think that's the key to his genius! My pictures look unrehearsed and natural and with his magical knowledge of lighting he made me look better than myself somehow."
"I would not only recommend Wayne Wallace Photography to family, friends and the person standing behind me at the bank but I've told all my girl friends that if they need a boost in the self-confidence, then they can‚t do any better than a photo session with Wayne Wallace."

Jade said "I love them! I can't believe how great my photos came out! I've had pictures taken before, but none as good as Wayne took. I suppose it's because he created such a relaxed and care free environment it was easy to look in the camera and have fun. Also probably because he's a genius behind the camera!"
