more about the images:

perfect stranger moment, this was about the 3 or 4th frame i shot, right after meeting this girl, Kristine Cody in the french quarter in New Orleans.

we made eye contact through a window and door, she cracked the door and i asked, "may i take your photograph", she said yes, there was a certain chemistry to the whole thing, plus i was bored, i was supposed to be shooting Brad and Angelina Jolie, not a stranger. Anyway, long story short, I later followed up at night and shot her getting a new tattoo.

natural light, open shade, with a little bit of flash on camera bounced.

no no drinks, it was my last day there.

Nice, you're the man!!!

I love your PJ images, you have a real knack for that. You found your groove man!

But you always kinda leaned that way didn't you towards photo journalism.

I remember vaugely talking about that over jello shots at the beginning of school hanging out at THE BEST HOUSE in town!
