hey guys. next week i'll be traveling to birmingham, al to photograph a dental office. i need to bring a light kit with me along with some other large equipment. i'd prefer not to ship (especially through ups because they've damaged stuff several times already), but i'm not sure what the specifications are for bringing a kit like that on a plane. does anyone know?? thanks.

I have traveled by plane twice with the large light kit. You have to check it but they put a special LARGE fragile sticker on it. Both times were fine. Good Luck

I have white lightnings and a lightware travel case, they fit the max specs for air cargo and I pack them to 50lbs each. Traveled with lights many times with no problems and no fragile stickers even.
