Personal work: San Francisco
Monday, September 3, 2007
Hi everybody!
Great to see everyone so active after school. I've been mostly spending my time freelance assisting, teching and misc. production assisting work. I've only done one personal shoot since I've been here, but thought I'd throw some shots up from it. It was for a designer I met on Craigslist, and it looks like it's going to lead to shooting a fashion show and meeting more buyers in the local Bay Area market.

Hot! I love the first one! Did you use the AB's?

Nope, those are still in boxes back at Seth's parents house. Hopefully have my stuff sent out soon. The light was very diffuse (7am and cloudy as all get-out), so I used an assistant (the lovely and talented Youa) to hold a Nikon speedlight above her and then one on camera for fill. I just wanted to give a minor directionality to the light.

Hey Josh, it's good to see you're doing well for yourself! These pictures are beautiful, I can't wait to see more from you. Great work.
