Its a good thing hallmark teaches you all aspects of the business, I haven't done much commercial work, its been mostly portrait stuff.

Yes, our Hallmark education is a valuable thing.

I feel confident about shooting anything that comes my way. Most people are so un-educated about photography half of the process is educating them about how real professionals work and why they need to hire a professional.

There are so many price shoppers out there and so many so called photographers. I'm glad to wave my certificate around in the air and prove to them why I'm worth the coin.

Adrian,

When I graduated Hallmark years and years ago I thought I would be all commercial. Found out I had a knack for portraiture. Love it when I get the commercial jobs but portraits pay the bills and I now have as much excitement for a portrait session as a big commercial job.

Also one of my largest commercial clients came from me photographing her children's portraits and asked if I would take on the commercial account from the bank she's the vice-president of marketing.
