I shot a game yesterday in Derry, New Hampshire. The field was beautiful the players were great. They played a team from the Boston area called Brockton. Brockton beet them badly. Here are a few of my favorite from the game.




This guy was cool. He wrote his article while on the side line, and he video taped the game too at the same time.


Then I stopped and took these. It was really to dark to be taking pictures, but I like them.



This is me...I am blurry cause I had to run to the car before my timer went off...and I had a long exposure, I couldn't hold very still...hey Tony here is my submission for showing movement with a person...Ok not really.

Great action photographs. Brings back memories, 14 years ago I use to photograph all the sports for Pinkerton's yearbook.

You had good success with these stop action shots, nice job. I like the compositions of the cheer leaders and the tackle.

FYI: I was born in Brockton, so I know it well. The city has, or had, one of the largest high schools in the country. I never attended their high school, but I recall their student body was between 4,000 and 5,000 students. As a result, their teams usually were some of the best in the state.

Kudos for putting out the effort and stopping road-side along the trip!

Yes that was very lucky. I am not used to having that kind of luck. I usally shot at night. But since I came to Westeren Mass there are so many more day games.
