Need Opinions
Sunday, October 7, 2007
This coming Saturday I'm participating in something called Women's Showcase. Companies throughout town set up booths for different businesses and they are all geared towards women. I have my own booth and I'm trying to figure out what pictures to show. I will have one 16x20 and then some 8x10s and 5x7s displaying my work. I'm having a hard time deciding what I should have for my 16x20 and the other pictures that I should select. Besides the 16x20 I'm thinking I'll have about 10 more to display in a variety of the other sizes. Here are the ones that I'm thinking of including. Please let me know what your opinions are and which one you would use for the large picture. I appreciate it. Thanks!!

PS-These kinds of expo's are great because most of the time, you're the only photographer there. Unlike a bridal fair!!

Kates,
Make them all big I say.
Sure you need to have books for people to look at but you want to attract people to your booth then convert them to customers and you need a system and plan for doing this no just big pictures.
I'd make big hanging banners and have lots of little magazine like books you can give out to them with a lot of pics in them.
I can give you lots of help and information on strategies on how to maximize your efforts in your marketing.
I offer personal one on one business coaching through my site http://www.photographymarketingsecrets.com

GraphiStudio has specials sometimes. You can make 100 4x5 magazine style hardcover books for like $50 with the purchase of a large book. These would be great for you if you plan on doing these things a lot.

You can get a cheaper flimsy magazine style product done as well that would be good to hand out.
I don't have any names off the top of my head, maybe millers.com - At October 8, 2007 6:04 PM, Wayne Wallace said...
