Here are some pictures I took when a fellow Hallmark grad, Katrine Flanagan, came to visit me in Fargo, ND. We went about 5 miles north of town to take these shots. It was so fun watching her find things to photograph that I wouldn't have noticed because I see them everyday. It's really helped me to open my eyes a bit more to what's around me. Comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated!!

Warm on cool... I remember that assignment.
I like the sense of scale and your use of space in the first image. I also think that image would look great printed really large!
Katrine looks good in the other two, too.
I can relate to Katrine's excitement from being in a new location. Hay rolls were new to me when I moved to Florida after HIP, and I find them fascinating. Although, at times they do look like large rolls of toilet paper. - At October 4, 2007 9:53 AM, kbayne said...
