Photo Expo 2008
Sunday, October 21, 2007
After seeing 2 booths at the 2008 Photo Expo, I knew that walking the streets of New York City had nothing to offer me that day. The Photo Expo in New York was just what the doctor order. I had the time of my life and I never left the building. I was like a kid in a candy store and I still didn't see it all. A lot of amazing products to offer future clients. There were many products I never knew existed. I sat in on Photoshop demonstrations, I spoke with album providers, other professional photogs and (best of all) I got the opportunity to play with the new Nikons D3 and D300. (Talk about two amazing cameras) I watched a fashion shoot where the photographer demonstrated a H2/Phase 45 Digital back. He actually let me fire off a few shots with one of his models. Cool baby!!!
Anyway I wanted to share some images I shot with my own Nikon D80. I didn't control the lighting or posing (of course) I just wanted to take pictures. Let me know what you think.
I gotta say it was a good day!! Big thanks to the adminstration and faculty for making this happen.

Mark, Glad you followed my advice about staying at the Expo. I thought that model looked familiar when I saw her. Yea, so many ideas and products in one place. I was a kid in a candy store. Good to see you there. Susan
