First for Women Magazine

Its been a while since I posted and I figured that I shouldn't post my wedding stuff since it will just be a rehash of what I post on my blog, so here is a shot from a series I did for First for Women magazine. I was photographing a story about a great recipe that brought a family together, so if you want to read the story, go ahead and pick up the magazine at your local store.





I just want to thank Sheila Hizon, classmate from HIP 07 for assisting me on this shoot, we were brainstorming ways to make the lighting look as natural as possible, then we finally figured we should put a softbox outside to create sunlight/edge light and to bounce another softbox for the key light. I think it turned out pretty nice!



Here is a side shot so you can see the softbox, with my friend July fixing hair for me. I also want to thank Jason McGrew for the kind words he put about me in his post below, thanks Jason!
