Horses

This week I have a job photographing horses for a friend of mine. Their farm is 22 amazingly beautiful acres on the north shore of Long Island. The property is waterfront and my dog and I spend sunrises on the beach each day. The farm is a breeding operation, and they have little babies all over the place. So cute!!! They are so friendly and curious and come right up to me while I am trying to photograph them. Their noses are so tiny that they fit right into my lens hood!! These are a few shots that I really like.

Hey Lexey,
I really really like the baby foal pic. The hair light is amazing on it showing all of it's colors. I enjoyed the horse/boat photo and the depth of field but I would have made the horses appear a little bigger.
I see what you were getting at with the whole scene though so that is great for pulling back.
I think you were successful with this shoot! I am very proud. You go girl.
