Usually I'm more of a sunset person - but after this morning I might have to change that!

Bellingham, Washington - Lake Padden
I was the 1st person to the lake. Around 5:00 a.m.
It was incredible to watch the all the bats flying around on the water. There were probably 50 or so bats where I was. I watched an owl glide over the lake - as fish jumped in the water.
It was a beautiful morning and it looks like it's going to be another beautiful summer day!

Nice shot!
Morning light is beautiful and it's always worth the effort of getting there for that magical moment. - At August 13, 2008 7:52 PM, Jessi Hebert said...

very pretty! You should do what I've been doing and go to the people who have houses on the lake and show them the picture, give them a price and see if they're interested in buying it!
Who wouldn't enjoy a picture like that in their lake house? - At August 13, 2008 7:54 PM, Kameron said...

Your HDR stuff is just beautiful. You have a great eye for landscapes and buildings. You can make them sing!
