Congrats on making it into the program :) Have great year. Enjoy every day of it. It goes by fast and George will not extend it to 12 months so don't bother asking :).

Ditto what Mark said. It goes by super fast so soak up as much info as you can! The teachers will hate me for this, but ask them tons of questions and get critiqued often because it'll make you a better shooter! Also, work your butts off. Don't slack. That's just an insult! Do your best and you will see yourself grow in leaps and bounds! Congrats!

The 2009 class looks like an amazing group of people. Eager to learn and ready to go. I had a great time talking to them today. Also to see Gary Land and his work again. Thanks so much to all of you who sent your advice, tips and encouragement. So many students told me how much they appreciated it. I appreciated your input as well. You touched on some things that I did not think of.

You can see a copy of your advice here . It was 10 pages, 32 responses. This will be posted on the student page for the 2009 class. Hopefully it will be a year-long reminder for them when things get rough.
