Wyoming "Photo Booth"
Monday, September 22, 2008
After admiring many photographers photo booth idea (mainly "the image is found"), we decided to try it out at a wedding we did in Wyoming last week (we were there when H. Ike hit). "Photo Booths" are such a great service to be offered at a wedding reception, it really added to the atmosphere and it enabled us to tell more of a story! If I shot traditional weddings I would do this for sure it's a fun idea and a great bonus to offer.

my partner and I were just discussing offering this. We are trying to figure out how to go about it...what did you guys do? Leave a camera for everyone to play with? Staff it with someone?

This is the first time we have done this. We put up the lighting just outside the reception in a high traffic area and took turns shooting (one shooting reception, one shooting photo booth). I wouldn't advise leaving your camera and lights unattended ;-), might turn out bad.
